The LHG XL 5 ac is a low-cost Long Range 5GHz 802.11ac wireless device with an integrated dual-polarization 27 dBi grid antenna. It is ideal for point-to-point communications or as a CPE over longer distances, and it supports the Nv2 TDMA protocol.
To fully leverage the speeds provided by the 802.11ac protocol, the device contains one 10/100/1000 Mbit Ethernet connector. The LHG XL 5 ac is engineered for high-performance outdoor deployments, offering stable and reliable connectivity even in challenging environments. Its lightweight grid design ensures minimal wind load while maintaining strong signal focus and reduced interference. The MikroTik LHG XL 5 ac is a high-performance outdoor wireless device built on a 32-bit ARM architecture with a quad-core IPQ-4018 CPU running at 716 MHz. It runs RouterOS with License Level 3, supported by 256 MB RAM and 16 MB FLASH storage. The device features a large Ø 550 × 245 mm grid antenna and is designed to operate reliably in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C. It supports passive PoE input (10–30 V) with a maximum power consumption of 8 W, making installation simple and efficient.
For wireless connectivity, it operates on the 5 GHz band with 802.11a/n/ac (Wi-Fi 5) standards, delivering AC1200 performance and maximum speeds up to 867 Mbit/s through 2×2 chains and a high-gain 27 dBi antenna. A single Gigabit Ethernet port ensures fast backhaul and stable network connections. The device is available in different versions: the LHG XL 5 ac-US is factory-locked to 5170–5250 MHz and 5725–5835 MHz, while the international version supports 5150–5875 MHz, subject to local regulations.
